Su-Kam is now MNRE channel partner

The Su-Kam Solar division has been approved by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy as their channel partners for undertaking off-grid projects up to 100kWp rating. The customers can now place the orders on Su-Kam and we will be able to facilitate the 30% capital subsidy from MNRE making the process extremely easy for the clients.

The approval has been given by MNRE after a rigorous appraisal conducted by CRISIL - a leading rating agency of the country and Su-Kam has been given the SP1A rating which represents the highest performance capability and the highest financial strenght for undertaking solar projects.

Enertia Award’2011

Su-Kam awarded the prestigious Enertia Award’2011 for Technology and Innovation – Renewable Energy category in recognition of its initiatives in the field of Solar Energy.

Su-Kam has been selected for the award for its continued focus on R&D and the indigenous development of several products in the solar energy sector. The company has spent over 2% of its turnover on R&D in 2010–11, making it among the top spenders on research and development in the Indian private sector. The in-house development of products like solar inverters, solar charge controllers, solar PCUs, India’s first solar home UPS and more, provides further testimony to both Su-Kam’s technological superiority and its commitment to green energy sources. Su-Kam is keen to play a leading role in helping to protect planet earth from further damage and preserve the ecosystem for the generations to come.

Top 10 SME Entrepreneur 2011

The CEO, Mr. Kunwer Sachdev was once again recognised as one of India's most admired entrepreneurs. He was among the Top 10 SME (Small & Medium Enterprises) Entrepreneurs awarded by SME Channels, India's first IT magazine for the SME sector. The awards were given out in the presence of a distinguished gathering on 2nd September, 2011. Mr. Sachdev and Su-Kam have shown the world how intelligent entrepreneurship can transform a nation.

Kunwer Sachdev, Managing Director, Su-Kam Power Systems has been conferred with the 'Entrepreneur of the Year 2011' award for achieving remarkable success in his entrepreneurial venture at the recently held Entrepreneur India 2011 Awards at The Claridges, Surajkund on July 15th 2011.

Entrepreneur India Awards instituted by Franchise India, aim to recognize and felicitate achievers, innovators and suppliers who have contributed significantly towards the development of entrepreneurship in India. In all, there were 17 award categories spanning across different business sectors.

Su-Kam, the leader in the Indian power back-up industry has won the prestigious award for excellence under the highly competitive solar/energy category for its product- Solar Power Conditioning Unit. Mr. Kunwer Sachdev- Managing Director- Su-Kam Power Systems was felicitated by the Indian Chess Grandmaster and World Chess Champion Vishwanathan Anand at the awards ceremony held in Bangalore. The Technovation Awards are to recognize role models and excellence in the Indian Electronic Systems Design and Manufacturing ESDM ecosystem. The awards honor organizations and provide them with a platform to showcase their products.

Amity HR Growth Award, 2008

Su-Kam was conferred the HR Growth Award by the Amity International Business School on the occasion of the Fifth Global HR summit held on 28th & 29th August, 2008. Su-Kam has been lauded for promoting and inducting young professionals, aligning people with the company’s vision, continuous training and development of its workforce and providing benchmark working conditions.

The National Award for Quality Products, 2006 for manufacturing Inverters of outstanding quality, from the Govt. of India. It included a cash award of Rs. 1 lakh (US $ 2,500) from the Govt. of India.

Sectoral Award 2006-07 – Non-Small Scale Industry (Consumer Electronics)for achieving the highest exports in the field of Electronics and IT from the Export Promotion Council, Govt. of India.
